V prenovljeni kmečki hiši sva se pri opremi z ženo odločila, da opremiva jedilnico s tradicionalnimi slovenskimi aplskimi stoli. G. Šivic nama je svetoval tako tip stola kakor tudi material. izkazalo se je, da so stoli kljub intenzivni uporabi zelo kvalitetni. Stole smo premazali z oljem, tako, da so nekoliko potemneli.
